Taco Bell

The WORST Food I've Ever Reviewed!

After a trip to Dublin, I decided to stop by Taco Bell for a quick meal. Having seen Taco Bell locations popping up more often, I thought it would be convenient to give it a try. My order consisted of a Volcano burrito, fries, Pepsi Max, crunchy taco, crispy chicken soft taco, cheese quesadilla, and churros. Sounds like a feast, right? Unfortunately, it was far from that. Now before I get into it, I know many of my American viewers have told me previously that Taco Bell is without a doubt the worst fast food restaurant in the entirety of the country so I was already concerned before I’d even had chance to tuck in…

Let’s start with the cheese quesadilla. It came out looking quite decent, with gooey cheese oozing from the middle. But the taste? Bland. Despite how it looked, there was no punch in the flavour, and at £5.49, it felt like a rip-off. Next up, the crispy chicken soft taco was a disappointment too—dry, with no sauce to help balance out the dryness. I’m starting to see why so many of my viewers had a low opinion of Taco Bell.

Then, I moved on to the crunchy taco. I had hopes this might save the meal, but it fell apart almost immediately, with bland ingredients that lacked any freshness or flavour. As I tried to salvage the taco, it was clear that the quality just wasn’t there.

The Volcano burrito, priced at £6.89, was supposed to be the star of the show. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. Although it was moist, it had little to no spice, which was unexpected from something named “Volcano.” There was no boldness, no heat—just another overpriced and underwhelming item.

As for the fries, they were okay. Crispy, with a slight spice from the seasoning, but nothing that stood out. Just your average fast-food fries.

Lastly, I tried the churros, hoping for a sweet redemption. Sadly, they were incredibly hard and overly sweet, making them difficult to enjoy. Even the caramel sauce that came with them was too sugary, leaving the whole experience feeling forced and heavy.

At the end of it all, my total bill came to £24.44. For what? A bland, overpriced meal that left me regretting the visit. For that price, you expect something edible, but Taco Bell just didn’t deliver. I can honestly say I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to you either. Save your money—there are much better options out there.

The worst mark I’ve ever given. 0.5.

Hmmm 0.5/10
