Nice Baps

I Review NICE BAPS!

Ooooh matron!

Visiting Nice Baps in Wadebridge, Cornwall, was an experience that lived up to its top-rated status on TripAdvisor. Parked on the side of the road, I was intrigued to find out what Nice Baps had in store for me. It was slightly disappointing to find that the large steak pasties were sold out since that was a major reason I wanted to try them out!

I decided to go for a medium steak pasty, a vegan sausage roll, and an Atlantic burger. I also ordered the chicken, bacon, and cheese melt, and I couldn’t resist adding a hot dog to our meal. The prices were quite outstanding, with my burger costing £8, the melt at £7, and the hot dog priced at £6, making our total a mere £20.50 for a feast that promised satisfaction. I already apologise in advance for the my idiotic take at humour during the video.

When our meals arrived, I immediately dug into the cheese, broccoli, and sweet corn pasty, and let me tell you, the first bite was nothing short of delightful. The pastry was perfectly flaky, and the combination of ingredients created a satisfying crunch that I couldn’t resist.

Next, I turned my attention to the Atlantic burger. The moment I took a bite, I was met with the juiciness of the beef patties and the smoky char that added an extra layer of flavour. The burger was a bit messy, but the explosion of taste made it all worthwhile. The melt was equally impressive, with generous layers of chicken, cheese, and bacon blending harmoniously.

Then came the hot dog, which was also noteworthy. The quality of the sausage was excellent, enhanced by the sweet caramelised onions and a mix of sauces that made each bite special. As I savoured my meal, I couldn’t help but appreciate the generous portions and the evident care put into every dish.

Reflecting on my experience at Nice Baps, I felt a sense of satisfaction not just from the food but also from the friendly service. The staff were polite and attentive, adding to the overall welcoming vibe of the eatery. I truly believe that Nice Baps deserves its top ranking; the quality and value for money were remarkable.

I would rate my visit an impressive 8.5 to 9 out of 10, and I wholeheartedly recommend.

An interesting titbit: Gordon Ramsay considering this the best place in the UK for a bap!

I LOVED it! 8.5/10
